Wrap soleil by Lucie

C'est un retour sur ce wrap, mais voilà... Ravelry trouvait que le "patron" n'était pas... je n'ai pas compris, c'était en anglais.

Laine : Barisienne de Bergère de France : Prévoir environ 8 à 9 balles. J'en ai utilisé 3 dans le turquoise et un peu plus d'une pour les autres couleurs

Crochet : 4 mm

Ce wrap est composé de 65 fleurs reliées les unes aux autres.

Le diagramme du motif est ici

Et en texte, voilà :

1. Monter un cercle de 12 ms. Couper
2. 15 ml, 1 mc dans la maille serrée du cercle de base.  12 fois. Couper

3. Dans le pétale formé par les 15 ml faire : 3 ml, 2 brides fermées ensemble, 4 ml, 3 brides fermées ensemble. 4 ml

Pétales : 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12:  1 ms dans le pétale suivant, 4ml
Pétales : 4, 7, 10  : 3 brides fermées ensemble, 4 ml, 3 brides fermées ensemble. 4 ml

Joindre et couper

4. On commence par une extrémité. Et c'est ici qu'on joint les motifs. Pour ceux qui font des grannys, c'est le même principe.

Pour joindre, le groupe de 4 mailles en l'air se transforme en 2 mailles en l'air, joindre à l'autre motif par une maille coulée, 2 mailles en l'air

1er coté :

3 ml, 2 brides fermées ensemble, 4 ml, 3 brides fermées ensemble. 4 ml, 1 ms dans la chaine de 4 ml du rang précédent, 4 ml,

(3 brides fermées ensemble, 4 ml,  1 ms dans la chaine de 4 ml du rang précédent, 4 ml) 2 fois

Les autres cotés :

3 brides fermées ensemble, 4 ml, 3 brides fermées ensemble. 4 ml, 1 ms dans la chaine de 4 ml du rang précédent, 4 ml,

(3 brides fermées ensemble, 4 ml, 1 ms dans la chaine de 4 ml du rang précédent, 4 ml) 2 fois

Joindre et couper

Une fois toutes les fleurs assemblées. Faire la bordure. Celle que j'ai choisie : Dans chaque groupe de 4 ml, 2 ms, 1 ml,  2 ms

Well, ma’am, I  make slippers. I am a slipper-maker. So long math, economy and computing (Hmm, I don’t think so. I have to put bread on the table)

 

African flowers are so pretty! How about on a slipper?

 

Here is my most recent model: The African flower slipper.

 

1-    Crochet the sole ---see pattern here

 

 

2-    Crochet African flowers ---see pattern here (4 rows only)

 

 

3-    Pick up stitches on the sole. Start before the end of the heel.

 

 

Row 1: 12 half double crochets (at the back of the heel) until you have only 12 stitches left before you reach the center), then 24 half double crochets (or double crochets if you want your flowers to be higher)

 

Row 2: in sc until you have only 16 stitches left before you reach the center Set the flower on the slipper  and sew it on.Do the rest of the row in sc.

 

 

Row 3: Keep crocheting in sc all around and go back and forth to crochet the back. Do a slst to secure the flower in place. Turn.

 

 

Crochet as many rows as you wish (6, 7,8….)

 

Row before last: All in sc, even on the flower. You can crochet this row before the last one if you wish.

 

Last row: crabstitch, one stitch out of two.

Chaussons fleurs africaines - version française

English version available ( 2014/12/15)

Moi, madame, je fais des chaussons. Je suis chaussonnière. Fini les maths, l'économie et l'informatique!!!! (vite dit... il faut que je gagne ma vie)

Les fleurs africaines, c'est si joli! Et sur un chausson?

Voici mon tout dernier modèle : L'African flower slippers.

1. Faire une semelle  --- patron : ici

2. Faire des fleurs africaines --- patron : ici (4 rangs seulement)

3. Sur la semelle, relever des mailles. Commencer avant l'extrémité du talon

c'est ici que ça commence vraiment

Rang 1 : 12 demies brides (l'arrière du talon), en ms jusqu'aux 12 dernières mailles avant le centre, 24 demies brides (ou des brides si vous voulez les fleurs plus relevées)

Rang 2 : En ms jusqu'au 16 mailles avant le centre et on joint la fleur que l'on a déposée  sur le chausson. Le reste du rang en ms.

Rang 3 : On continue en ms tout le tour et on revient en aller retour pour faire le derrière. Faire une mc pour joindre la fleur. Tourner

On fait autant de rang que l'on veut (6,7,8).

 

Avant dernier rang : Tout en ms, même sur la fleur.  On peut faire ce rang avant le dernier rang. à votre choix.

Dernier rang : point d'écrevisse, une maille sur deux

Here is my little swirly hat…the idea just popped out of my head. I wanted to crochet a new stripped hat that would be easy and quick to make. I also wanted there to be almost no strings to thread.

So here goes!

 

Yarn: Impeccable et Caron

 

Hook: 6mm

Row 1: make a 7 sc circle using black- don’t join them together.

 

Row 2: in contrasting color , 2 sc on each sc of the previous row (it is the only row in pink where there is an increase)--- don’t close

 

Crochet each row as if it were the continuation of the previous row (See picture below)

 

 

Row 3 : alternate 1 sc, 2 sc on the stitches

 

Even rows: all in sc

 

Row 5:( one sc on the 2 sc of the previous row, 2 sc on the sc of the previous row). Repeat this throughout the whole row.

 

Row 7: (1 sc on the 3 sc of the previous row, 2 sc on the sc of the previous row)

Repeat throughout the whole row.

 

Row 9: (1 sc on the 4 sc of the previous row, 2 sc on the sc of the previous row) repeat throughout the whole row.

 

Row 11: (1 sc on the 5 sc of the previous row, 2 sc on the sc of the previous row) Repeat throughout the whole row.

 

Keep increasing until you’ve reached the desired circumference.

After that, finish off everything in sc.

After that, everything is in sc. To finish off, I did one row using the crabstich. I picked up the stitches from the back and crocheted them in sc. The last row is done using the crabstitch.

I crocheted many slippers this fall. In all colours and sizes, but always for the ladies. People have asked for something that would be fit for both sexes.

So, as requested here are the Gaston slippers!   ---- TRADUCTION : ELIZABETH LOWE

Yarn : Red Heart Comfort
crochet : 6 mm ou 7 mm

The hook you use makes all the difference. Here, we use the same type of yarn, same number of stitches, same hook size, but a different type of hook. For the woman’s model, use a smaller hook.

Model 9 for men (medium)

Part 1: the sole. Once it is completed, make sure it fits the length of your foot when the sole is a little bit stretched.

Step 1: Mesure your foot. A foot that mesures 27cm ---ch 17 or 19 stitches,

Women : 25 cm---ch 15 stitches…or a smaller hook

One sc in the 2^nd stitch from hook, all in sc, 3 sc in the last stitch, then turn, come back and do 2 sc in the last stitch. Close.

Row 2 : 1 ch, 1 sc in the first stitch, all in sc, 2 sc in the last stitch, mark the center, turn, come back with 2 sc in the next stitch, all in sc, 2 sc in the last stitch and close.

Row 3: 1 ch, 1 sc in the first stitch, all in sc until you only have 9 stitches left before you reach the middle. 1 half double crochet in the next stitch (repeat 3x), 1 treble (dc) in the next stitch (3x), and 2 trebles in the next stitch (3 x). We have reached the center . Come back the same way: 2 trebles in the next stitch (3x), 1 treble in the next stitch (3x), 1 treble in the next stitch (3x). sc in each ch across to last st of this side, 2 sc in last. join.

Row 4: 1 ch, 1 sc in the first stitch, 2 sc in the next stitch. All in sc until you only have 9 stitches left before you reach the center. 1 half double treble in the next stitch (3x), 1 treble in the next stich (3x), and 2 trebles in the next stitch (3x). We have reached the center. Come back the same way as previously : 2 trebles in the next stitch (3x), 1 treble in the next stich (3x), 1 treble in the next stitch (3x). All in sc and 2 sc in the last 2 stitches. joint

Part 2 : the front and top of the foot

Row 1: Raise 8 sc at the end of the foot, 1 ch on the sole, then turn.

 

 

Row 2: thread at the front, 1 sc in the stitch of the sole (the same as the chain.) We have a one stitch increase, continue in sc until you’ve reached the end of the sc of the previous row, 1 slst on the sole, then turn.

 

Rows 3 to 7: Like row 2. When you’ve reached row 7, you have 14 stitches.

 

Rows 8 to 19: No more increasing. Thread at the front, 1 sc on the sc of the previous row, 1 slst on the sole, then turn.

 

The second part covers about 50% of the sole.

Part 3: heel and border

 

Row 1: raise some sc on the sole, connect 1 slst to part 2, 1 sc on the second part, turn.

 

Row 2 : in sc, 1 slst on part 2, then turn.

 

From here on, we crochet in a circle.

 

 

Rows 3, 4, 5, 6: All and sc, and when you reach part two (the top of the foor), do one slst, continue in sc until you reach the start of part 3, skip 1 stitch (in rows 4,5 6, the sc of the previous row is skipped), 1 slst and the rest in sc. This is what facilitates the transition to the border of the slipper (see socks below)

 Rows 7 to 14 (the number of rows is as you wish): all in sc

 

Last row: all in sc, but join it with the 9^th row.

3 row:The simple crochets are made with the hook that goes from back to front, it goes in front of the stitch of the previous row and you thread the hook towards the back, then retrieve your thread and crochet, that’s what creates the cast off. Repeat the 2^nd and 3^rd row,

 

The row before last: sc

 

Do the last row using the crabstitch, 1 stitch out of two.

 

Do one row using the crabstitch, 1 stitch out of two at the first row.

À la demande générale, voici la version française du col élégance.

Petit chapeau : ici

Laine utilisée : 2 balles de Bernat Roving (je suggère 3 pour un snood un peu plus long)

                        Un peu Red Heart soft

Crochet 4 et 10 mm

Rang 1 : Avec votre crochet 10 mm, faire une chaine de 141 mailles.

Rang 2 : Tout en ms, fermer.

Rang 3 : Alterner ms et ml.

Rang 4 : Changer de laine et de crochet. 1 ms dans le trou du rang precedent, 4 ml tout le tour

Rang 5 : Changer de laine et de crochet. Alterner ms et ml. La ms est faite sur la ms de l'avant dernier rang, de façon à laisser paraître notre ms de couleur plus vive.

Répeter les rangs 3, 4 et 5

Finir avec un rang de ms et rajouter un rang au point d'écrevisse, 1 maille sur 2.

Row 5 : Change your yarn and take out a 10 mm,  Crochet on the row 3, 2 sts,*  1 sc in sc of previous row, 1 st* . Make sure there is always 1 st on the sc that is in contrasting yarn.

Row 6 : 1 st, *1 sc in the space between the two sc in previous row, ch 1* repeat, close
 

Row 7 Change yarns and take out a 4mm, *1 simple crochet, 4 sts, skip 1 stitch *  Then cut.

 

Repeat rows 5, 6, and 7 until you’ve reached the desired length.

last row : only sc.

Finish up using the crabstich, 1 stitch out of 2.

Needles : 4 and 6 mm

Row 1 : With your thick yarn using your 6mm needle, make a circle with 7 sc.

Row 9: Change yarn and take out the 4mm, *1 simple crochet, skip one stitch * 24 times, then cut.

Row 10: *1 st, 1 sc in the 8^th row’s stitch* 24 times. Again , always do 1 st on the sc that is in contrasting yarn.

Row 11: * 1 sc in the st of the previous row, 1 st* 24 times.

Repeat rows 9, 10, and 11 until you’ve reached the desired length.

Finish up using the crabstich, 1 stitch out of 2.

Unforgettable slouchy

C'est vrai que je ne mets pas beaucoup de photos de Québec ou de Rimouski c'est temps-ci. Je préfère être en mode création. --- I don’t post many pictures of Quebec or Rimouski these days. I prefer to be in a creative mode.

J'ai vu sur le groupe crochet de Facebook la question suivante : que faire avec une balle de laine Unforgettable --- I saw a question pop up in the crochet group on Facebook: What can I do with an Unforgettable ball of yarn?

Moi aussi j'avais une balle depuis quelques mois qui trainait dans mon coffre. Il m'arrive d'acheter des coups de cœur qui trop souvent restent inutilisés. - - - I’d bought a ball a few months back and it was just sitting in ,y knitting chest. Sometimes I buy things I fall in love with instant;y, but they wind up unused too often.

Lundi soir, je suis allée voir mon amie Lise, nous avons parlé, écouté la télé et crocheté. Je suis partie avec une seule idée : utiliser la fameuse balle.  Alors voilà! - - - Monday night, I went to pay my friend Lise a visit: we chatted, watched tv and crocheted. I left and could think of nothing else but to use up that ball of yarn. So here goes!

Laine : quelques grammes de Unforgettable et de Red Heart soft. Le résultat est étonnant : douceur et légèreté. - - - Wool used`a few grams of Unforgettable and Read Heart soft. The result was pleasantly surprising: soft and light.

Crochet : 6 ml et 5 ml. Crochet used: 6st and 5 st.

Le chapeau se crochète en alternance de laine au 4 rangs. This hat is crocheted by alternating yarn at every 4 rows.

Les points utilisées sont la maille serrée et le point écrevisse. Simple crochet and crabstitch are used here.

Étape 1 : step 1

1. Monter 16 mailles, garder au moins 10 pouces (20 cm) de laine pour froncer la pointe du chapeau.
ch 16, save at least 10 inches of yarn to be able to raise the tip of the hat.
1 er rang : 1 ml, 1 ms dans la 2ième ml à partir du début, 14 ms et 3 ms dans la dernière maille, revenir avec 14 ms, 2 ms dans la dernière maille, joindre. nous avons :1+14+3+14+2 = 34 mailles.

Row 1 : 1 st, 1 sc. In the 2nd starting from the beginning, 14 sc, 3 sc in the last stitch, go back to 14 sc, 2 sc in the last stitch, and put them together: So far, we have : 1+14+3+14+2 = 34 stitches.

Rangs suivants : Nous augmentons de 2 fois 2 mailles à chaque extrémité jusqu'à 74 mailles. Increase 2 times 2 stitches  on each side until you reach 74 stitches.

Étape 2 : step 2 : en mailles serrées jusqu'à ce que le chapeau mesure 11 cm. sc until the hat reaches11 cm (4.5 inches)

Étape 3 : step 3 : augmenter de 1 maille à chaque extrémité (2 mailles par rang) jusqu'à ce 86 mailles.  Add one stitch at each corner (2 stitches per row) until we have 86 stitches.

Étape 4 : step 4 : en mailles serrées jusqu'à ce que le chapeau mesure 24 cm.  sc until the hat reaches a lenght of  24 cm (9 inches)

Étape 5 : step 5 : avec la laine Unforgettable, faire un rang au point d'écrevisse. Using the Unforgettable yarn, do one row in using the crabstitch

Étape 6 : step 6 : Sur l'envers, avec un crochet 5 ml et avec la laine Red Heart, relever des mailles des mailles. Travailler 4 rang en ms. Finir au point d'écrevisse. With a 5 st crochet using the Red Heart yarn, raise sts. on the flipside. Build 4 rows in sc and finish off using the crabstitch.

Froncer la pointe du bonnet Raise the tip of the hat.
