Bonsoir à vous tous -- Good evening all
Lise et moi sommes allées chez le marchand de laine pour faire des provisions. L'hiver s'annonce occupé pour toutes les deux et nos crochets feront du 100 à l'heure. -- Lise and I went to a wool merchant's to stock up, because this winter carries the promise of whirlind crocheting for both of us, what with said needles going furious pace of 100 km an hour!
-- Upon my arrival home, I couldn't help but plop down on the couch, take out my crochet, and let the grannys work their magic...For me crafting, the granny stitch means allowing myself an ultimate time of relaxation, an almost intimate moment between me, my wool and my crochet.
Aujourd'hui je vous montre mon col à la canadienne. Tout en granny. -- Today I show you my cowl, ``a la canadienne``...Granny style.
Finition point d'écrevisse -- Crab stitch: finished product.

Love your granny cowl, you did a great job. When work and life are crazy it is good to settle down with yarn and your hook.
RépondreEffacerHave a great week,

You're all right. Last week I asked for English course at my office. I think that they will give it to me. All is in French at the office but sometime i have to read some paper in newspaper... About economy...
EffacerThis afternoon, i will go to the festival western in St-tite. It´s the second in Canada after Calgary. Olivier goes with us... It will be a real challenge of all of us!

Bonne semaine Lucie.

September 6th,
RépondreEffacerThe smell of autumn is gently fragrancing the air...and with it comes the return of the Granny snood, ``à la canadienne``!
Good evening all,
Yesterday I showed you my little bread baskets, and today, I already have something else to share...Probably the result of too much TV...and not enough physical exercise, or even cleaning. I had a big week at the office, and I needed to unwind a little. So, this morning, I went out to brunch with my friend Lise. We didn't just eat...
It always does my good to see her, and I don't know why I don't do it more often. It's not her, mind you, it's me who stays hidden in her shell for months.
Lise and I went to a wool merchant's to stock up, because this winter carries the promise of whirlind crocheting for both of us, what with said needles going furious pace of 100 km an hour!
Upon my arrival home, I couldn't help but plop down on the couch, take out my crochet, and let the grannys work their magic...For me crafting, the granny stitch means allowing myself an ultimate time of relaxation, an almost intimate moment between me, my wool and my crochet.
Today I show you my cowl, ``a la canadienne``...Granny style.
Crab stitch: finished product.
See you soon,
The cowl is beautiful, goes very well with the jacket.
